Nicole (BPM-Sport Head Coach & Team BPM Member)

Nicole is a qualified Level 2 Triathlon Coach (Triathlon Australia) and Personal Trainer with an Advanced Diploma in Fitness. Nicole adds qualifications in Pilates, Nutrition, Pre-Post Natal, Special Needs and numerous group exercise specialties to her CV. She has been encouraging both men and women to achieve their health and fitness goals for the past decade. Whether it be encouraging members to successfully race their first fun run, triathlon or simply tone up and slim down for a more positive life experience.

Nicole has been competing in Triathlon since her first race in 2002 and is now a regular competitor on the Asia Pacific Triathlon scene. She has competed at World Championships and acheived multiple podium finishes at international level. Most importantly, she always makes a point of racing with a smile on her face.

Nicole has had great success helping those starting out in the sport of Triathlon, aiming for a PB or vying for a coveted “Kona slot”.

Evan (BPM-Sport Coach & Team BPM Member)

Evan is a fully qualified Triathlon Coach (Triathlon Australia) and has been racing triathlons since 2002. Since then Evan has gone on to become one of Asia’s leading male age groupers, tasting success at races throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to Triathlon, Evan represented Australia in Sailing competing in World Cups and World Championships holding a top 15 world ranking and taking out numerous Australian Titles.

Evan is very passionate about his sport and works with BPM’s higher level athletes on technical aspects of their training and motivational work. He will push you to your limits to ensure you achieve the most from your training with BPM and will make sure that you get the results you are after.


Justin ( Justin Granger – Coach & Professional Triathlete)

Justin Granger has been coaching triathletes since 2000. His main focus is helping age groupers achieve their goals through his simple, low technical approach to training with consistency being the key. Justin has spent much time training with some of the world’s best triathletes and has first hand experience on what they are currently doing to keep them at the top.

Justin has started over 40 Ironman races and finished all but a handful. He coaches his wife, 14x Ironman Champion Belinda, so he has a wealth of knowledge to share. BPM-Sport are also proud to work with Justin on their Asian and Australian training camps.


Mike (Mike Turnbull – Coach & Team BPM Member)

Originally a swimmer, Mike has been competing in swimming, cycling and running events for the past 18 years. The highlight of his career was representing Great Britain at the World and European Duathlon Championships (20-24 age group) and he has been a regular face on triathlon podium’s in Asia over the past few years.

Mike has a Sports Science degree and the experience of coaching over 200 age group athletes of various levels and abilities. He applies scientific based principles into all of his training programs and sessions and enjoys being able to provide a dedicated and detailed approach to his athletes.

As well as coaching BPM-Sport athletes on-line, Mike runs some of the BPM-Sport track and swim squads throughout the year.


Josh (Josh Rix – Coach and BPM Managed Athlete)

Josh has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports Coaching and Administration and is a Level 1 Triathlon Coach through Triathlon Australia. Add these to his Silver Swimming Coaches licence and you can be assured that Josh has a depth of knowledge that will be not only be valuable to our coaching team but our athletes as well.

Josh has a passion for coaching with fellow pro triathlete Madeleine Oldfield being one of his success stories, along with a long list of juniors who have made it thru to the Australian National Championships in swimming.

Josh enjoys racing long course and Ironman distances and has recently enjoyed success placing 3rd at the Syracuse 70.3 in September and 4th overall at IMWA in December 2011.

Josh wants to help athletes achieve their goals thru an enjoyable, educated and individualised training plan. He believes in integrating  both training and lifestyle and wants to enable the athlete.  Josh is available for online coaching and private swim lessons (singapore based athletes only) to help athletes develop their swimming stroke and efficiency in the water.

PJ (Pete Jacobs – Consulting Coach & Pro Triathlete)

2011 Australian Ironman Champion and Runner-up at the Ironman World Championships, 2009 Australian Long Course Champion and multiple triathlon winner, PJ is one of the world’s leading long course professional triathletes. Since turning professional in 2004 Jacobs has been turning heads. A string of international successes including five top-five Ironman finishes and several Half-Ironman victories has served notice to the Ironman fraternity that he is the real deal.

Regarded as one of the world’s premier Ironman swimmers,he has the ability to swim away from the pack allowing him to set up his position for the ride. In 2010, Pete posted the fastest run split at the Ironman World Championships, the third fastest in the events history. As a fully qualified coach (Triathlon Australia), PJ enjoys passing on his skills to age group athletes with Personal Bests flowing in from his athletes.

PJ works with athletes on personalized programs as well as BPM Elite Training Camps in the Asia Pacific region.

Dan (Daniel Plews – Consulting Coach & Team BPM Member)

Dan Plews has been competing in Triathlon for nearly 15 years. In this time Dan has won accolades such as British Junior and Youth Triathlon Champion, British Grand Prix Champion and been a medalist in the British Elite Men’s Sprint Championships. Up until recently, Dan has been living in Singapore where he was a leading age group triathlete in races throughout Asia.

Dan is a working Exercise Physiologist, working closely with many endurance sports such as cycling, triathlon and rowing and is currently completing his PhD. Dan holds a Masters degree in exercise physiology and believes in a scientifically based approached to all training. Dan also has a back ground in triathlon coaching, and is a qualified triathlon coach.
